We do all we can to be responsible citizens within our communities. In fact, our employees volunteer for monthly cleanup and recycling activities, like the Adopt-A-Highway program. Corporately, KI supports wetland preservation projects and promotes outdoor recreation through public trails. Of course, we continually implement process improvements within our company. Consider our responsible transportation efforts to coordinate shipping, maximize space, reduce highway traffic, and minimize emissions and pollution.

We diligently pursue reductions in waste, air emissions and effluent discharges. KI’s pollution prevention activities are extensive, and include the use of alternative materials whenever possible. Our electroplating operations save more than a half-million gallons of water annually, returning water to rivers cleaner than when it entered our facility.
